The Video and Image Processing Lab, founded in 1988, is engaged in research related to theories, algorithms, and applications of signal, image and video processing. Of particular emphasis in recent years is:
- 3D model construction for large scale environments
- Applications of image processing techniques to semiconductor
- Manufacturing, e.g. lithography
