EE W240S. Analog Integrated Circuits
Catalog Description: This course is a self-paced, web-based course for the MAS-IC program. Single and multiple stage transistor amplifiers. Operational amplifiers. Feedback amplifiers, 2-port formulation, source, load, and feedback network loading. Frequency response of cascaded amplifiers, gain-bandwidth exchange, compensation, dominant pole techniques, root locus. Supply and temperature independent biasing and references. Selected applications of analog circuits such as analog-to-digital converters, switched capacitor filters, and comparators.

Prerequisites: MAS-IC students only.
Credit Restrictions: Students will receive no credit for EE S240A after taking EE 140, EE 240A, or EE W240A.

Fall: 3.0 hours of web-based lecture and 1.0 hours of web-based discussion per week
Summer: 4.5 hours of web-based lecture and 1.5 hours of web-based discussion per week
Spring: 3.0 hours of web-based lecture and 1.0 hours of web-based discussion per week
