Implementation of Two Relativistic Renderers

Objects passing an observer at a speed that is a significant fraction of the speed of light appear distorted to that observer. There are two contributions to this distortion. The first is the Lorenz contraction which reflects the fact that time and space get interpreted differently in two coordinate systems that move with respect to one another. The second one results from the fact that the photons that bring visual information from the object to the observer have different flying times and thus correspond to different positions of the object in the past. In addition, there are color and brightness changes due to the Doppler effect and due to the differences in photon flux from different parts of the object. <p>Two renderers implementing these effects have been developed. Their rendering techniques are presented and discussed.
