This document describes the Ptolemy kernel. The principle audience for this document is programmers who seek to extend Ptolemy in major ways (e.g. write a new domain or a new parallel scheduler), or who seek a deeper understanding of how the kernel works. A detailed knowledge of C++is assumed.
