Adding Department, Academic, and Pay Schedule Calendars to bCal


We recommend that you use Chrome for bCal.

EECS Event Calendar

  • Click the arrow next to "Other Calendars" and select "Add a URL"
  • Copy the following and paste it into the URL field: http://events.berkeley.edu/index.php/ical/sn/eecs/type/future.html/.ics?filter=Secondary%20Event%20Type&filtersel=

Berkeley Academic Calendar

  • Click the arrow next to "Other Calendars" and select "Add a URL"
  • Copy the following and paste In the URL field: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/berkeley.edu_lrpagcvovu47raj72dmpatjou4%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics

Nonexempt Employee Biweekly Pay Schedule

  • Same as above except the URL is:
    http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/berkeley.edu_2bb9945vsn5qmhu7hu7g7vpnu4%40group.calendar.google.com/private-f9eef021c74ce8089cca25e736ee4ff5/basic.ics

CSA, Dept-truck, 231C, and Other Private Staff Calendars

User's must be granted access by the calendar owner. As soon as you have been granted access, you will receive an email notification. When you click "yes" on the notification, the calendar will be added to your Other Calendars list.


RSS Calendar Feed

The EECS event calendar is part of the campus event calendar, see http://events.berkeley.edu/. People can sign up for an RSS feed for calendar events via our departmental page at http://events.berkeley.edu/index.php/calendar/sn/eecs.html


If You'd Like to Make Your bCal Calendar Your Chrome Home Page

  • Open Chrome. Click the wrench icon at the top-right of the window next to the location bar and select "Settings"
  • Under "On startup," click the radio button for "Open a specific page or set of pages" then click "Set pages"
  • In the "Add a new page" field type: http://bcal.berkeley.edu
  • Remove any other pages that are there then click "OK"
  • Close the Settings menu by clicking the X in the tab at the top of the window.
